An Introduction to Falconry

What better way to enjoy your time at Turnberry hotel and gain an insight into the world of Falconry than to handle and fly various birds of prey, learning all about the ancient history of Falconry at close quarters.
Woodland Hawk Walk
Duration: 2hrs
Cost: £145 per person
Persons: Min 2 / Max 4
Have a gentle stroll around the forest and grounds of Turnberry with free flying hawks following on and flying to your gloved hand. The walk starts with an introduction where our resident falconer Jamie introduces you to the hawks and gives an induction on the falconry equipment and hawk handling.
Family Show & Tell
Duration: 1hr approx.
Cost: £290 per group

A fabulous family taster session. Our resident falconer will provide an insight to the falconry centre and introduce you to the various birds of prey, including owls, hawks falcons and eagles at close quarters whilst educating everyone along the way.
Young Falconer
Duration: 1hr
Cost: £145 per person
Max Persons: 4
A great way for youngsters to learn all about birds of prey and the art of falconry, our resident falconer will provide a show and tell at the falconry centre and allow aspiring young falconers to meet the various birds including owls, hawks falcons and eagles.
